Jakarta (ANTARA) – Microsoft has quietly launched the Copilot application specifically for Android, which can be downloaded via the Google Play Store, providing access to Microsoft’s artificial intelligence-based Copilot without the need to use the Bing mobile application.
Spotted by Neowin, Copilot on Android has been available for almost a week, but the iOS version is not yet available.
Microsoft’s Copilot app on Android is very similar to ChatGPT, with access to chatbot capabilities, image generation via DALL-E 3, and the ability to compose text for emails and documents.

It also includes free access to OpenAI’s latest GPT-4 model, something you have to pay for when using ChatGPT.
The launch of the Copilot app for Android comes more than a month after Microsoft changed the name of Bing Chat to Copilot.

Microsoft initially launched its artificial intelligence initiative earlier this year within its Bing search engine, integrating a ChatGPT-like interface into search results.
While it’s still available, Microsoft has abandoned the Bing Chat brand and allowed Copilot to be a standalone experience that also exists on its own domain at copilot.microsoft.com, similar to ChatGPT. This is as quoted from The Verge, Tuesday (26/12).
