Jakarta (ANTARA) – After the new iPhone, the newest Pixel, the newest Surface device and other new gadgets, this year’s technology season is even more complete with the presence of the Banana Phone.
As the name suggests, Banana Phone is shaped like a banana.
Banana Phone, quoted from The Verge page, One, is not a cellphone, but a loudspeaker (speaker) which can be connected to a cell phone via Bluetooth and can be used to pick up the phone.
While old Nokia phones are often called bananas because of their large and curved shape, the Banana Phone is indeed shaped and colored like a banana, complete with a stem.
The Banana Phone project started as a campaign on a collective fundraising site (crowdfunding) Indiegogo in 2017.
Banana Phone seems to just want to enliven the market speaker with a cute shape, according to the page, so don’t compare the sound quality with speaker professional like Sonos.
President of Banana Phone LLC, Brian Brunsing, stated they are developing a new version of Banana Phone. Speaker This version will update the battery life to 20 hours, from the previous only 10 hours.
Brunsing stated that this latest product was not designed to compete in the speaker market.
